Q. I'm doing a science project, and talking about how Pulmonologoy and the respiratory system relates to other bodily system. I've already found info on the Digestive and and Cardiology system, but I'm at a loss for how it relates to the Endocrine, Excretory and Nervous systems. If you know any or all, please answer! Thanks so much! Asked by Mckenzie - Sat Apr 18 19:12:25 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. nervous system: there are nerves that enervate the diaphragm (and thoracic muscles), which are critical to muscular manipulation of the lung volume. Endocrine: see renin-angiotensin system. Excretory: perhaps the surfactant excretions that decrease surface energies, so that the lung doesn't collapse onto itself. Q. Why do people still believe socialized systems are a good way to distribute goods and services instead of looking for a way to removing barriers of entry, regulations, taxes, subsidies, etc. This has been studied for over and over when you free a market up it increases efficiency and decreases price. Socialist don't believe in human sin and think since it's a socialized system the people it it will do good when they have no incentive too. Asked by Dsas Dsf - Fri Jul 30 21:55:47 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Have you been to a Public Library ? Isn't that a socialist system ? I suppose we should abolish it because it sounds vaguely like "Communism" and we decided that was bad long ago. While you are at it, abolish Fire Departments as that is certainly socialist. Road and Highway building and repair, socialist. Traffic lights, socialist. Public Schools and colleges, socialist. People who want a "free market" everything very often ignore the shoulders of the giants they are standing on.
